Qualis Oliva’s Farga is a superior quality extra virgin olive oil obtained directly from olives using mechanical processes only.
A variety native to northern Castellón, it is grown throughout much of the province, especially in Baix Maestrat and southern Tarragona. These large, vigorous, and open-growing trees are known for their longevity. Some are hundreds or even thousands of years old. The leaves are elliptical-lanceolate shaped and medium-sized.
The olives are black in colour with an elongated, slightly swollen shape, a rounded apex and a circular cross-section. The pit is elongated and smooth, with a pointed apex, accompanied by a peduncle and a tapered base.
This oil is produced using cold extraction, and is known for its powerful flavour, balance, and richness with fresh notes.
David and his family have been working diligently for more than ten years to dignify their method of sustainable and socially aware agriculture. Their goal is to strengthen the local economy, defend the territory, and contribute to the recovery of the natural landscape: carob and olive trees on previously barren farmland, which is now more alive than ever.
