Our Hojiblanca organic oil comes from the Aquilino family’s Habitat Palo Viejo olive grove located in Herrera, Seville.
Qualis Oliva’s Hojiblanca is a superior quality extra virgin olive oil obtained directly from olives using mechanical processes only. The oil is unfiltered and is best enjoyed within three months of opening.
Hojiblanca is an extra virgin olive oil that is cold pressed from traditional Andalusian olives.
The oil is produced from the olives grown at Habitat Palo Viejo, a 30-hectare olive grove with 8,000 trees, located in Cerro Martos, Andalusia. The extraction mill is located on Habitat Palo Viejo premises, ensuring cold extraction takes place within four hours of harvesting.
To keep the fragrance fresh, this extra virgin olive oil is always extracted at a maximum of 24ºC.
The owner of Habitat Palo Viejo, Mr Aquilino Castaño Solís, along with his daughter Patricia and master taster Carlos, perform the tasting. The three of them are responsible for ensuring the quality of the Hojiblanca oil after cold extraction.
Habitat Palo Viejo operates in accordance with organic farming standards.
